Ahhhh, the Maze, long powerful, peaking, pure waveriding heaven. On it's day the Maze is aMAZE ing, this gem of a scottish wave offers true down the line, up and down pure waveriding. The sections start off as good fun and as you get to the corner super fat. When big the Maze is only suitable for experts because it can be very tricky to get out, and your peachy wave ride may often end with a good swim. When it is smaller it is good fun for everyone.
Features
The Maze is really hard to get too and the most convenient way still requires permission of a farmer. It is outstanding, and if you can get to it the other way, it is well worth the drive. You may well have your best ever session in the UK here.
Considerations
The main hazard of the Maze are the conditions when they get big. The right hand corner near the rocks can be intimidating and easy to get stuck in. If this happens, it is best to get back to the beach and walk to the middle to launch again.
Directions to The Maze
The Maze is hard to get too, full stop. Use a vehicle with high ground clearance and take some whisky for the return journey to calm you down.
