Ventnor is another spot on the island that works really well in the prevailing W-SW winds as a down-the-line wave riding location but also has some good jumping. Consider this a more easily accessible Niton.
Settled at the base of a small town, the are plenty of cafes and other ammenities that will make a wait for wind a little less frustrating.
Features
Consider this as an alternative to Niton in a W-SW but bare in mind that Niton is likely to have bigger swell but not necessarily better waves. Best time to windsurf is around low tide.
This is also one of the only locations that works for wave riding in E-NE winds.

Ventnor is a popular surfing location, so windsurf and kitesurf with consideration.
